NO/LOW AMNIOTIC FLUID!
Hello,
My name is Gianna M....... W........ I thought I would contact you about an experience that is going on in my life.
When I found out I was pregnant in January of this year, my mom gave me a St. Gianna medal to protect my baby and myself and hopefully help the doctors that treated me throughout my term. I wore the necklace daily and prayed to St. Gianna for help and protection.
On May 3, 2010, in my 19th week of pregnancy, I learned that I had low/no amniotic fluid surrounding my baby boy. Fluid levels in a normal pregnancy are about 13 cm and mine was at 2 cm. The doctors informed my husband and me of the importance of the amniotic fluid when it comes to lung development. We were told he would be born unable to breathe due to lack of lung development. The doctors made it very clear to us that we could abort our baby before 24 weeks so we could prevent the inevitable and "start over". Distraught, my husband and I let all the doctors know that we were going to continue the pregnancy and give our baby a chance. I immediately got the feeling they thought we were crazy. But, with my strong husband leading the way, our little family moved forward in faith and hope. I was put on strict bedrest at home starting May 3. On June 6 at 24 weeks (6 months) pregnant, my water broke and I lost the little fluid I had supporting the baby. I was hospitalized for premature rupture of membranes and was to stay at the hospital until I delivered. This usually happens within 2 weeks after rupture. 5 weeks later at 29 weeks gestation, on July 9th, I went into labor and my baby John was born via C section. We were all shocked when he came out breathing on his own and crying a little. Johnny has been staying in the NICU since then with very little support and breathing on his own . The neonatologist informed us that his lungs are not operating any different than any other premie at his age. She said she would never guess he did not have any fluid when in the womb if she didn't know our history. He is my first experience of a miracle. He does have some other issues that we must take care of down the line. He has a cleft lip and palate and a clubbed foot--both can be corrected by surgery when he is a little older. We are waiting on some chromosomal tests to see if he has any genetic disabilities or syndromes that would have caused these issues. This is scary to me. Please pray for our baby to be well and happy.
I am letting the Shrine of St. Gianna know our story because I learned about another miracle that occured with a woman who had little fluid during pregnancy. This is one of the miracles that made St. Gianna a saint, correct? Also, it is quite a coincidence that St. Gianna and I share the same name.
Thank you for what you do to spread love and peace in our world and thanks for letting me share our story. I will continue to pray to St. Gianna to help our son continue to improve in mind body and spirit and for my husband and me to stay strong and full of faith.
Thank you,
Gianna M....... W........

ONE MOTHER'S SACRIFICE - HEALTHY BABY!
I want to thank St. Gianna for helping me through the delivery of our child. I prayed for her intercession to make sure that our child would be born safely and healthy. I asked that if anything were to happen that I would be the one to bear it. As it happened, the baby was born safely and I hemorraged due to an unknown case of placenta accreta. Through the chaos that ensued and the doctors and nurses working on me, I was completely at peace and was able to use St. Gianna's story as a source of strength and comfort. My uterus was miraculously saved as well as my life. By the next morning I felt great. Thank you St. Gianna for your intercession, your strength, and your compassion.

INFERTILITY - THEN CONCEPTION AFTER PRAYING NOVENA - BIRTH OF GIANNA MARIE ON DAY AFTER FEAST DAY!
My husband and I got married in 2007 and had tried to have children for over two and a half years. After several failed fertility treatments including a miscarriage, we gave up and were thinking about adoption. Then, I read in a Catholic newspaper about the life of St. Gianna and how she has helped numerous couples with infertility problems. I went online and got her novena. My husband and I prayed the novena and to our surprise I found out I was pregnant few weeks later, without any treatment. The pregnancy was uneventful. On April 28th, 2010, day of St. Gianna’s death, it was decided to perform a C-section since the baby was still floating at 41 weeks. Gianna Marie was born on April 29th 2010, she is a healthy, sweet, beautiful baby. Thank you St. Gianna for your intercession!

CONCEPTION ON FEASTDAY!
I have news for you... I am 8 weeks pregnant!!!!!!!!!! Saint Gianna, you've helped again! Anyway, I was totally shocked and surprised as well as my doctor! 3 natural conceptions for a woman who should have had a hysterectomy by now!! I had an ultrasound today and new baby is doing really well. I am nervous because my progesterone went down a little and I am on supplements, but the doctor is not worried at all. It was so amazing to see my baby moving around today and the tiny heartbeat going strong. I am so blessed I cannot tell you. And, the strange part... my due date is Feb. 2 and guess what day they count from to tell the weeks of pregnancy.. April 28!! Coincidence, I think not!!!
Please pray for me and my family. I cannot believe this!!! God has been so good to me.

CANCER-FREE!
Our son Gianni was named after Saint Gianna because my wife Dina was having a difficult pregnancy. He was born on March 31, 2004 and was healthy. At age 4 he was diagnosed with Rhabdomayo sarcoma stage 3, a very rare childhood cancer. We prayed to Saint Gianna to intercede again for him so that God would cure this disease. We prayed and asked Saint Gianna to guide the doctors and nurses so Gianni would be cured of this disease. After 43 weeks of chemotherapy and 28 radiation treatments Gianni is in remission and we had our first scan on May 18th and they saw no more cancer. We know Saint Gianna was a doctor of modern medicine so I believe she did help in curing him.

A MOTHER'S THANK YOU
FOR HER BABY GIANNA JOHN PAUL MARIA
I am writing this email to thank Saint Gianna Molla for her help during difficult trials. Last Thursday I went to hospital to have my first trimester scan, believing that I was carrying a three month old baby. I was devastated to see and be told that the baby had died in the early stages of my pregnancy, but my body still believed it was pregnant. I was then sent home and given the choice of either waiting for my body to expel the placenta and my dead baby, or have an operation. Initially I opted for the first option, and waited for nature to take its course. However, nothing seemed to be happening. I prayed to Saint Gianna Molla and John Paul II to ask for strength. On Sunday evening, I asked them to tell Jesus to start the natural process that evening, as I was finding it unbearable to carry the remains of my poor baby. I also asked Saint Gianna and John Paul II to tell Jesus to make the process as painless as possible. I was grieving for the death of my child and I was terrified of what was going to happen to me during the expulsion of the placenta and the little body. I awoke on Monday morning feeling extremely ill. My husband rushed me to hospital where it was confirmed that the process had started. My body was not coping with it well at all, as I was developing tachycardia. I was therefore put on a list to have the operation. Whilst waiting, my health deteriorated and I experienced unimaginable emotional and psychological pain, close to despair. Only the presence of my husband, the rosary and prayers to John Paul II and Saint Gianna Molla kept me going. I promised then to John Paul II and Saint Gianna Molla that if I survived, I would write to papers and websites to tell the whole world of the power of their intercession. The operation went very well, my heart beat went back to normal, and I am now at home, recovering from the whole experience. I have named my third child after John Paul II and Saint Gianna Molla: Gianna John Paul Maria H.. I know that he or she is now in heaven, and I have asked John Paul II and Gianna Molla to look after him/her. I will never be able to thank Saint Gianna Molla and John Paul II enough for what they have done for me. I have been able to return to my family and will be able to keep raising my children (a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old boy) as well as looking after my husband and my mother. May the Lord Jesus be praised for His mercy, may his servants Saint Gianna Molla and John Paul II be praised for their love and generosity. Thank you Saint Gianna Molla and John Paul II. I will never forget what you have done for me and my family.

No April Fool's Joke: MISCARRIAGE - BIRTH, PLUS JOB FOUND!
I want to tell you that in November, 2009, while attending Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, we were able to hold St. Gianna's gloves and we also received the pamphlet which told the story of St. Gianna's special intercession for favors, especially for mothers with difficult pregnancies. That same evening, the father of our niece, Jane ( who is my husband's younger brother, Rick ) was going to be visiting us on a stopover business trip....one night only. We knew of Jane's 1st miscarriage and difficulty to conceive after 5 years of marriage (and her mother had miscarried in earlier years so this was going to be tough indeed ). I just knew, however, after hearing the brief story of St. Gianna, that God had designed all of these events to happen for a reason - after all, IC was not our Parish Church and we were attending an earlier Mass in order to be home in time for our brother's visit ( from Canada ). In a late night talk, I explained to Rick about the intercession to Saint Gianna and the miracles attributed to her. I told him that the prayers for Jane, Adam, and the unborn child ( 4 months in the womb ) had already begun. Their family is Presbyterian and they are good, faith-filled Christians, but of course, Saints and intercessory prayer?? well.....but I sensed his enthusiastic acceptance. After all, I as the Auntie here - why would I NOT pray hard ??? I also gave him the prayer card and pamphlet to give to Jane when he returned to Canada, and to let her know of the day's interesting events and of our prayers. Following Mass that Saturday in November, my husband and I also prayed for other things: earler, in June, he had become suddenly "under-employed" (he is very dedicated and hard-working, experienced businessman), and it seemed as though life was taking a very challenging turn for us in this terrible economic time. I knew, however, that God does NOT forsake His little ones. I am so happy and thankful to tell you that our niece, Jane gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL baby Girl, Isabella Mary ( 7lb. 8 oz. ) after a very wonderful pregnancy this time and a perfect delivery - and little Isabella Mary was born one day early - on my birthday !!! April 1st - no fooling - and also, the best part: it was HOLY THURSDAY!! So when I received the message after arriving home from Mass, I KNEW that St. Gianna's intercession and the grace of God had prevailed....AND I tell everyone I know that this precious child is the result of much prayer - and that she is already such a great blessing to our family. Oh, and one more thing: on Friday, March 19, the FEAST of St. JOSEPH, my husband, Tom accepted an offer for a new job as a VP of a very fine Company - please understand that there are no jobs out there right now, esp at this level. He and I both know why these blessings have been granted to us and to our family. Glory and praise to our God that He has heard our prayers - and a picture of St. Gianna sits on my dressing table to remind us every day and night - that she heard our requests and passed them to the Lord for His consideration. I would be an April fool not to tell you this wonderful news -and if it will help or encourage anyone, then let them understand this message and receive it with a humble and grateful heart. Thanks be to God, ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA!

VISION OF SAINT GIANNA!
Saint Gianna was introduced to me just by a picture I had seen in my parish. When I learned a little about her, my attention drew interest as I am an OB/GYN nurse. I purchased a book about her. I asked for her help in a time of very difficult need, just last night. After praying the rosary, she came to me, comforted me, showed me the Blessed Mother fervently praying at my bedside, and reminded me of the Divine Mercy of Jesus, God's Son, watching over me and taking care of me. She let me know she is a loving mother to me, and came to me because I asked and is here to intercede with me in prayer to Jesus. Saint Gianna stayed with me in prayer, and some songs, and comforted me, all through my very hard and trying night. She spoke to me and reassured me on my motherhood and work as a nurse. She gave me courage and strength to do what is needed. I feel as though I have a companion in motherhood and nursing to help me in the remaining journey of my life, also a mother figure helping me.

OVARIAN CANCER
5 years ago I had the opportunity to hold one of St. Gianna's gloves at the time I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. When they did the surgery they were amazed that the cancer was en-capsulate - it did not spread - no lymph nodes were involved and chemo was not needed. She blessed and took care of my cancer. I had been trying to find her and by accident stumbled on this web site because I was trying to find out when Our Lady Of Nativity was having their healing mass.

Dearest St. Gianna, My husband and I conceived in October 2009. In November I learned that I had miscarried. In fact, my pregnancy was a little unusual. I was pregnant, but not pregnant. I was pregnant without a fetus. The fetus never developed. Per my doctor, this is pretty common. When I was about 4 weeks pregnant, I came to your Shrine to pray to you and to touch your glove across my abdomen. I prayed to you to bless my unborn child with excellent health. I also asked you that if anything were to ever be unhealthy about this baby, to take the baby from us immediately. It would be unfair to the child, and to us as parents, to have to deal with the loss of a child later in life. I prayed to you to have the healthiest pregnancy, labor and delivery ever. I asked of you to bless me with a healthy happy baby. You in return noticed that the child would not be healthy and terminated my pregnancy. I will be forever grateful to you!!!

A CHILD IS CONCEIVED!
Thank you, St. Gianna, for helping my husband and me to conceive our 1st baby. I had my tubes untied in March, however the doctor could only repair one side, so our chances of getting pregnant had decreased 50%. We have been trying since March with no luck! I found this website and began praying to Saint Gianna and to God...I submitted my prayer to the website and I literally was supposed to start my cycle the next day...the next day came and I started spotting....I began to think that the pregnancy didn't take....but when I hadn't had a normal cycle within 3 days, I went to the doctor and found out I was pregnant! So again thank you, St. Gianna, for blessing us!

ADOPTION
On St. Gianna\'s feast day this year, I traveled to Nativity of Our Lord Church to participate in the Mass. At the Mass, I offered a special petition for Bernadette and Owen, who had experienced difficulty and heartbreak in their quest to adopt a little boy from Russia. A family member came forward literally at the last moment to adopt the first boy they were hoping would be theirs. The second boy had many problems and they tearfully decided that he was meant for another family. I just received word that they are in Russia right now and will soon be bringing home a beautiful boy named Sergei Andrew. In looking at the pictures of this beautiful family, it seems as if he has been theirs forever. Of course, to those who believe, we know that it is true. Thank you dear St. Gianna for answered prayers! On my next visit to the Shrine, I will bring a picture of Sergei and his mom and dad.

CHILD CARE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN
My husband and I are both active duty military officers with two small boys, ages 4 and 1. Within days of moving to our new duty station in Japan, we learned that I would have to deploy and our beloved nanny would not be able to come with us as we had planned for months. I knew only a working mother would understand my need for help, so our family came to the Shrine in Warminster, Pennsylvania to pray to St. Gianna. Within days of arriving in Japan, we met a wonderful woman who is a preschool teacher wishing to study her English. I instantly knew she was St. Gianna's answer to our prayers. She now attends Mass with our family, too, despite the fact there are few Christians in Japan. When I talk to my husband and boys on the phone, they sound very happy with her and I know my children are being lovingly cared for while I am away. Although my prayer seems very small compared to the miracles I have read on this website, I am so grateful for St. Gianna interceding for our family.

TWO-VESSEL CORD BABY
I visited the shrine with my family on June 1st. I received news the previous week that at 29 weeks pregnant, the doctors overlooked a 2 vessel umbilical cord which can cause heart problems, kidney problems, growth problems in the baby, and other difficulties like early labor. The doctors believe that my one artery (usually there are two) is compensating for the missing artery, therefore, my baby is thriving. I prayed at the shrine and touched St. Gianna\'s gloves. The following week, I saw a perinatal specialist who gave me another ultrasound and determined that there is NO problems with the baby\'s heart, kidneys or growth. As a matter of fact, the baby is bigger than what they would expect for a 2 vessel cord baby. My baby is expected to go full term and I should have a normal delivery in August, 2008. My baby is a girl and will be named Gianna Eve in honor of Saint Gianna.

I had complications my whole prgnancy. When I had my c- section the Dr. had told me that had I not made an appointment to see him when I did Gianna would not be here today. She had your name since I found out I was pregnant, and now after learning about you and other peoples stories, I truely believe in my heart that my lil miracle is here because of you. MOTHER WITH CANCER DIES
My story is not a miracle in the traditional sense... In October 2000 my sister in law was diagnosed with cancer at the same time she discovered she was pregnant. She chose not to abort the baby, and she gave birth to a healthy premature daughter in March 2001. She passed away 1 year and 11 days later. Shortly afterwards, I heard about then Bl. Gianna and began praying to her for my family. Fast forward 3 years and Gianna is canonized - on my sister-in-law\'s birthday, May 16! Our parish offers a "patron saint of the year" and the first time I picked a saint for my year, who came out: St. Gianna! My brother is now engaged to a wonderful woman who is a terrific stepmom to my niece. Coincidentally, their wedding date: October 4, St. Gianna's birthday! Clearly, St. Gianna is up there praying away for my family. Thank you, St. Gianna.

PREGNANCY PROBLEMS
In September 2001, I discovered I was pregnant again. My previous pregnancy had not been an easy one, and while I was thrilled to be blessed with another baby, I was a little concerned about how this pregnancy would be. Between homeschooling our older son, taking care of the toddler, and working weekends in the Maternity Unit of a hospital, I was frequently exhausted. I had read about Gianna Beretta Molla (then a \"Blessed\") and found a special connection with her. Like Gianna, I too had young children at home, worked in the maternal/child medical field and had a husband who was frequently away on business. I began to draw strength from her examples of daily living and how she handled her difficult pregnancy. Having a history of low hormones, I had to give myself progesterone injections to help build up the uterine lining until about week 13. Just when I thought I would get a reprieve from needles, it was discovered that I had again become a gestational diabetic and needed to give myself insulin several times daily. This added to my worrying, but also increased my prayers. At a routine ultrasound done around 20 weeks, the scan was unable to show all four chambers of the heart and a complete brain was not visible. My doctor reassuringly told me that it was probably do to baby\'s position and she would have another scan done in a couple of weeks. I decided to put my trust in God and not push for a high-resolution ultrasound at this time. I made it through the Christmas holidays with tears and prayers and finally, a scan the first week of January showed a perfectly formed little boy with all his necessary organs! Thank you Jesus, Blessed Mother, and Blessed Gianna! All seemed to go well until I had reached my 33rd week. A vein that had been giving me trouble was found to be clotted off and not only caused severe pain, but posed a danger of the clot breaking free and traveling to my heart or brain. It was decided surgical intervention was necessary and would best be done under spinal anesthesia. All went well in the operating room, but in recovery, my blood pressure plummeted and I lost consciousness. The first thing I remember seeing was the lovely face of my coworker from OB, hooking me up to the fetal monitor and the feeling of relief as I got to hear little Patrick\'s heartbeat ticking away. After my recovery preceeded without incident, I was able to go home on bedrest (as much bedrest as you can get with small children around). The week before my scheduled C-Section, I was in the doctor\'s office for a routine non-stress test. A strong Braxton-Hicks contraction caused Patrick\'s heartrate to go from the 140\'s to the 80\'s and remain there for the duration of the contraction. I had rolled to my left side as soon as I heard the deceleration of heartrate and called out for the office nurse. The contraction wore off and the heartbeat resumed it\'s normal rate and after being monitored for several more hours, I was sent home. The non-stress test the day before the birth was fine, and although I had increasing Braxton-Hicks contractions, I felt good. This was the third baby I would be delivering by Ceserean, in the hospital unit where I worked, surrounded by knowledgable coworkers, so all seemed to be going well. On April 24, 2002 (the anniversary of the Beatification of Gianna Beretta Molla), my husband and I arrived at the hospital where I was placed on the fetal monitor and an IV started. Two hours later, I walked, pushing my IV pole into the C-Section room. After the spinal block was in place, my husband sitting nervously beside me and my doctor gowned and gloved, we were ready. Being a high-risk pregnancy, the Neonatalogist, and an RN and Respiratory Therapist from the NICU were called in to take care of Patrick. The first thing I can recall hearing after the surgery began was my OB saying there was thick meconium (baby\'s first stool) present in the amniotic fluid. That means that at some point in late pregnancy, the baby was under physical duress. We would soon find out why. Meconium can be deadly for a newborn if they aspirate it into their lungs when they take their first breath. After clearing out Patrick\'s little breathing passages, my doctor began to bring Patrick\'s head out, only to discover the cord wrapped around his neck - 5 times. Finally, with the cord loops removed from his neck (a sixth loop was discovered around his shoulders), he was pulled free from my uterus and passed off to the NICU team for resuscitation. Upon examination of the very long umbilical cord, a true knot was found in it as well. Both my doctor and her nurse commented that it must have been all those prayers and Hail Mary\'s I had said that kept Patrick safe. He was easily resuscitated and we got to snap a few pictures of him before he was taken to the NICU for evaluation and observation. After all that, I was finally able to shut my eyes and sleep during the remainder of the surgery. I was so thankful that the neonatalogist determined Patrick was doing great and was brought out to be with me only 4 hours after his harrowing birth experience. It was the next day, with Patrick in my arms, when my doctor told me that in her 20 years of OB/GYN, she had never encountered a baby with cord wrapped around it\'s neck more than 4 times that was not a stillborn, let alone having a true knot in the cord. I know with all my heart that, along with Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary, it was the intercession of Blessed Gianna, along with Patrick\'s Guardian Angel, that kept him safe. In a few weeks, on the 24th of April, we\'ll be celebrating n Patrick\'s 6th birthday, and 4 days later, on April 28th, St Gianna\'s feast day. I\'ve come to find those two days seem to go hand in hand for our family. I love St Gianna and have found that she is a powerful intercessor! St Gianna Beretta Molla, pray for us!

RADIATION TREATMENT WHILE PREGNANT
Dear St. Gianna, Thank you so much for interceding for me and more importantly, for my baby marga. 2 months after my radiation treatment, i found out i was pregnant with my 2nd child. People receiving radiation treatment are advised not to get pregnant at least for 6 months following the treatment. Doctors say that no amount of radiation is good and that my baby will be at a high risk for physical deformities. That being said, i said a novena to st. gianna asking for the good health and normal development of my baby...and on the 18th of December 2007, i gave birth to a healthy and normal baby girl. Again, thank you st. gianna from the bottom of my heart.

SINUS INFECTION WHILE PREGNANT
Earlier this year I posted a prayer request that my husband and I might conceive another child. Last week I found out I am pregnant. I also developed a severe upper respiratory infection and was told I probably had a sinus infection. I prayed to Saint Gianna all weekend for her intercession with our Lord to save me from the possibility of an infection and potential round of antibiotics that could harm my child. I am thrilled to say that my symptoms are slowly subsiding and I did not need antibiotics. I express my deep thanks to St. Gianna for her help and example.

BABY MARY KELLY (MOLLY)
Dec.,2007 I presented you with a request for prayers for our granddaughter, Mary Kelly (Molly), born on Nov.28,2007 - a twin. Molly was taken to the NICU the night of her birth with respiratory problems. Within a few days, I gave her Father a picture of St.Gianna which had touched her relic. He prayed the prayer and touched the picture to her chest, then placed the picture on her crib. After 2 weeks, her parents had her transferred to a well known Childrens Hospital. Again the picture was placed on her crib. A Jewish doctor asked if that was a picture of a relative since she had pictures of Molly\'s older sisters and brother also on the crib. Our daughter explained to him who St. Gianna is. Within a week Molly was able to go home. The doctor\'s comment to our daughter, \"I can\'t explain her miraculous recovery.\" Our daughter answered, \"I can\", and pointed to the picture of St. Gianna. Before leaving the hospital, our daughter, gave the holy card of St. Gianna to a nurse to give to another Mother whose baby had been in the hospital for 3 mos. Thank you, St. Gianna, for being with us and interceding for little Molly. Molly came home on Dec. 21, 2007 to be with her twin sister, Anya Catherine, sisters Elizabeth and Gabrielle and brother, Brett. He celebrated his 4th birthday on Dec. 24, and all he wanted for his birthday was for Molly to be home with the family. Molly is growing well, along with her twin sister, and is a happy, healthy baby. Thank you, St. Gianna.

BREAST CANCER
Blessed Gianna, this is a follow up to Note 94 listed above. I\'m back to thank you so much for interceding once again. My second surgery in December 2007 to remove additional breast lumps has also yielded benign results! I truly feel blessed to have had such a wonderful surgeon and amazing family, friends and the Light of the World prayer group praying for me. I could not get to the shrine prior to surgery but was given a second class relic card to place on my chest. I also felt warmth with the relic card and felt it again spontaneously during the time the Light of the World prayer community (based at Nativity of Our Lord parish) was praying for me one Wednesday night prior to my surgery. Thank you so much to all who prayed for me and special thanks to St. Gianna for interceding and blessing my family once again. I know you kept me safe, Gianna, thank you. Life is so good! I love you!

MOTHERHOOD
Dearest St. Gianna, I want to begin by thanking you from the bottom of my heart. I have prayed to you recently and you have answered ALL of my prayers. I prayed for the health of my unborn child when I was pregnant, I prayed for your assistance in labor and delivery and now I pray to you every night to bless my child. My son is now 4 months old and he is AMAZING! I wonder how one could love a person so much. It’s something that I have never experience before, but surely the best thing to EVER happen to me. My husband and I are both in LOVE with our little son. We THANK YOU full heartedly for all you have done for us. You answered our prayers and you assisted us when we were in need of you. I promise to make you know to all people in need. We love you and always will. Once again, thank you!

Thank you!

PRAYERFUL TEACHER
St Gianna, Thank you for being the example you were in your earthly life. Finding you and learning about you has given me strength and encouraged my vocation. Coming to this site to pray my novena is like sitting in a pew in church all alone, quiet, and reverent. St. Gianna please help me with my teaching. I know I need to improve, I am too sensitive and shy and rarely feel I have given my absolute best when class is over. Please help my lectures to be filled with encouragement for my expectant parents. Please help me to provide them with the best teaching and through you my teaching truly truly benefit them when they are in labor. Thank you St Gianna, I have chosen you and St Anthony of Padau as the patron saints for my little company. Please watch over it and please watch over my expectant parents, protect their unborn and see them through to a safe and joy filled birth. I ask for your help and your intersession. Thank you. Please St. Gianna and St Anthony pray for me and with me to God the Father of us all. Thanks be to God. Jesus I love you. Amen

BREAST CANCER - COUNTRY OF ARGENTINA
I am writing fron Argentina. I learned of Saint Gianna one year ago when I went to Genoa, Italy.
Two weeks ago, the doctor found a small tumor in my wife's breast. I decided to pray to Saint Gianna as a mother, wife and doctor.
Today, the doctor carried out two studies on my wife and the tumor has disappeared.
Thank you Saint Gianna for your intersession.

PREGNANCY BY PROXY!
On the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe I've been celebrating a Mass of Hope and Healing for families that have lost a child through miscarriage, SIDS, abortion, accident, and for couples experiencing infertility.
During the Mass couples come forward to receive a blessing using a second class relic of St. Gianna Molla (thanks to Joe Cunningham).
This past Dec 12 a woman returned to give thanks; last year she came to the Mass and stood in proxy for her daughter who could not conceive. Nine months and one day after the blessing...her daughter gave birth to her first child and this woman's first grandchild.
The woman cried last year in desperation; she cried this year in profound thanksgiving.
Thank you, Saint Gianna, for helping this family!

INFERTILITY - THEN TWINS!
My husband and I had struggled with infertility for years. We had one early miscarriage and decided to move on to adoption. Through a series of events in my life, St. Gianna came into my life. I prayed to her, prayed her novena and visited the shrine on several occasions. Imagine my surprise when my husband and I found out we were expecting twins! A double miracle and a double blessing! Thank you God and St. Gianna! I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and continue to pray to St. Gianna daily to watch over the babies and myself through this pregnancy. Thank you again St. Gianna for answered prayers!

BREAST LUMP
St. Gianna, I wanted to thank you so much for interceding when I found a breast lump while nursing my 2 wk old son back in 2004. You watched over me and my doctors for 2 yrs so I could nurse him and made sure I was safe and he was, too. When I had surgery in 2006, I carried your card in my sock and knew you were with me and my surgeon. I prayed to you for complete benign results and you were there for me. I am facing the same surgery again in a few weeks with two newly found breast lumps and plan on visiting the shrine in the next few days. I know you will be with me and watching over me, my surgeon and my family during this time. As I read through the board and cry tears of joy over the many miracles you have performed, I can't thank you enough for being there for so many of us. You are our family's guardian angel. With so much love and gratitude, I thank you!

2-YEAR OLD WITH CANCER
I was a month pregnant with my son when my 2-year old daughter, Katie, was diagnosed with cancer. The pregnancy did not start off well and combined with the stress of caring for Katie, my doctor told me to go on a modified bed rest or I could lose the baby. At the same time, Katie was not able to walk or even crawl due to the intense pain from the compression fractures in her spine caused by a combination of the leukemia and chemotherapy. I had to take Katie to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia 3 or 4 days each week for chemo and have her blood counts checked, along with giving her daily chemo at home. A member from the Blessed Gianna Society who heard about Katie, contacted me and asked if they could come to our home with some relics of Blessed Gianna. They came with a pair of her gloves and a priest’s robe that was made from pieces of her wedding dress. I was permitted to put on the gloves and immediately felt a warming sensation that started in my hands and went through my entire body. I placed one of my gloved hands on Katie’s back and the other on my belly and prayed. Katie began to crawl and eventually walk a couple of weeks later. She never had a fever or was hospitalized during the first year of treatment – which is highly unusual. Katie’s little brother, Kyle, was born a few weeks early, but at a healthy 10 pounds, 1 ounce! Our family believes through St. Gianna’s intercession, we have two miracles in Katie and Kyle!

PAINLESS PREGNANCY
St. Gianna, I want to begin by thanking you from the bottom of my heart! I prayed to you to help me with my pregnancy and with labor and delivery. I have to tell you, it was amazing. I went through the entire birthing process without felling anything. I received the epidural early during the delivery and it lasted the entire time. I felt NOTHING. I prayed to you and asked you to be there with me and to help me. You were truly there for me. The entire process from pregnancy to delivery was amazing. I thank You and Jesus for making everything complication free. I was scheduled for a c-section and I prayed to you to help me have a vaginal delivery and that’s exactly what you did for me. I’ll never forget what you’ve done for me. Thank You!

I plan on spreading my testimony and thought this was the perfect place to start as I also posted a prayer request on this website. Again, Thank you St. Gianna for our miracle and please continue to intercede for us that this is a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. Thank you!

UNBORN TWIN GIRLS HEALTHY
On 8-14-07, my friend and I made a pilgrimage to your beautiful shrine. At that time, I prayed in a special way for a set of unborn twin girls. These little girls are the children of my \"niece\'s\" dear friend. I am very happy to report that both filrs were born healthy and well four days later, on 8-18-07 (my birthday). Katherine Rose and Francesca Maria are both home now and doing well. Even though Francesca was smaller than her sister, she is trying hard to catch up, and doing very well. May their parents, Karen and Joe, always know how special these girls are. Thank you dear Jesus and St. Gianna for your intercession...

ULTRASOUND OF UNBORN BABY
St. Gianna--Thank you so much for your prayers. Today we saw a yolk sac in our ultrasound!!!! Since both of our previous pregnancies ended in blighted ovum's, I've never seen anything in an ultrasound other than gestational sac! This is so emotional and exciting to my husband and I. I know you are praying for my unborn baby and I know that last week when I visited the shrine, you sent your special blessings to my baby through your gloves! We love you and believe in your miraculous works. Please continue to pray for us!

LOVE FOR HER FRIEND, SO THEY VISIT THE SHRINE
A few weeks ago, I somehow came upon this site, and spent several hours reading about Saint Gianna. I believe that I heard St. Gianna's voice urging me to bring my friend Anne Marie to visit the shrine. Anne Marie was widowed a little over a year ago. She and her husband were never able to have children, even though they would have been welcomed. Anne Marie is soon to be engaged to a wonderful man, Matt, who is also widowed (and not coincidentally was a friend of her late husband). He has expressed a strong desire to raise another family (Matt has 2 sons ages 20 and 22). Yesterday, 8-14-07, I made a pilgrimage with Anne Marie to your beautiful shrine. We both prayed for whatever is God\'s will in this matter. As she placed her hands on St. Gianna's gloves, I laid my hand over hers to pray. We were both filled with an incredible peace and joy. It was also not a coincidence, that 8-14-07 was not only the vigil of the Assumption of Mary, but the feast day of St. Maximllian Kolbe, who also gave his life so someone else might live. If God in His infinite wisdom see fit to bless Anne Marie and Matthew with children, whether through natural means or adoption, they will be brought to the St. Gianna shrine at the Nativity of Our Lord Church to say "Thank You, dear Jesus and St. Gianna". We look forward to coming again.

BABY MADELINE GIANNA
Thank you, Saint Gianna for the gift of our daughter, Madeline Gianna Miller, born on September 3, 2006. We are so blessed to have Madeline in our lives and we owe the experience of a healthy pregnancy and birth to you and your intercessions. We came to you when we were in complete despair and you answered our call in the most amazing way. We are truly blessed to have you as in inspiration. I hope that I can follow in your example of seflessness as I journey through motherhood with my little girl. THANK YOU!!!

VISION OF SAINT GIANNA!
I just delivered baby #5 on July 16. During my pregnancy, I had a vision of St.Gianna. (I was worried about delivery due to being a v-bac for the 4th time.) In the vision She told me that she would be with me during Labor and Delivery. She was there! My baby was born with the cord around her neck and a knot in the umbilical cord, it was only through St. Gianna's intercession that my baby was born without any complications during delivery or any other problems that can occur due to the cord being knotted or around the baby's neck. Thank you St. Gianna.

BABY GIANNA
Prior to knowing the gender of our first child, my husband and I couldn't agree on any names. On the day that my husband and I found out we were having a girl, and to our surprise, the name Gianna came immediately to our minds. We quickly agreed that out daughter would be named Gianna. Soon after we me with the physicians to discuss the test results only to find out that I had a two-vessel cord. It is a "marker" and could have meant several things. While we were told not to worry, we did. While at home and trying to be optimistic, I did a search on the meaning of the name Gianna and learned about Saint Gianna. I knew from reading her story that we picked the perfect name and that Saint Gianna would watch over our little Gianna as she grew. In December 2005, we had a healthy baby girl and we certainly gave her the name Gianna. She has a beautiful spirit and at the young age of 1 1/2 has a love for God, Jesus, and the church. She knows to give her kisses, do the sign of the cross, bless herself and she can't wait until she is of the age to receive communion. We were truly blessed and we feel that Saint Gianna was watching over when for some we easily picked her name. Our daugher is lucky to have the name of a Saint that stands for the life of a child - a true miracle. Thanks you with all our heart. The proud and fortunate parents of little Gianna.

GAVE SON UP FOR ADOPTION
I became pregnant at age 19, and my own family pressured me to abort. I knew I could not raise a child, despite having a faithful, pro-life boyfriend to whom I am now actually engaged to. I had no support from anyone except him, and his family. The night before the schedualed abortion, I prayed to God, to send someone to intercede, to give me the stregnth to do what his will is. The next day I ran out of the clinic. I had found the courage and strengnth to do Gods will. On Janurary 10th, 2007 I gave birth to a baby boy. After many months of discussing options with my boyfriend, we decided adoption was the best thing we could do for our son. We found a wonderful Catholic family to raise him and give him everything I only wish I could have. After the day at the clinic, my mindset became "No one will ever touch my baby." I love my son with everything I have and it was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, saying goodbye to him for the last time. But this was my calling, and I trust God. I put my pain, my hopes, my dreams, my life, into His hands, and I believe He sent St. Gianna to intercede. I will be baptized next Easter, and have chosen her as my Patron Saint. My life was turned around, and I am so greatful for that awakening.

NO DOWNS SYNDROME for BABY GIANNA
I would like to thank St. Gianna for her intercession for my pregnant niece who had previously had an ultrasound that may have indicated Down's Syndrome. A recent ultrasound turned out to be normal. I had sent her a prayer card touched to St. Gianna's relic when her relics were brought to our church recently. My niece who never heard of St. Gianna had decided to name the baby Gianna, unbeknown to me. We know St. Gianna had something to do with that! Thank you, St. Gianna.

PREGNANT PEDIATRICIAN
My daughter Lourdes is a resident in Pediatrics. This is her last year (3rd.) and she has a lot of work, nights on call that she cannot sleep at all, etc. She became pregnant last February (first child) and I offer her pregnancy to St. Gianna. I pray a lot to her. At her 5th month she got cramps, but she could stay at home resting for 2 weeks and last Nov.16 she had a beautiful baby girl, Eva Beatriz, their first child, our first grand-daughter and she had a pretty good labor. I was all the time praying for the intersession of St. Gianna. My daughter worked until two days before she got in labor.

PHYSICIAN PRAYS TO ST GIANNA
I have always been a devout Catholic but I never felt that my prayers have had much meaning until I met St. Gianna. I think that it is when we are in our darkest hour that we truly give ourselves totally to God's mercy. I myself am a physician and I often pray for my patients. I felt all was lost after many years of trying to conceive a baby. A dear friend of mine told me of St. Gianna and that her relic was going to be at St. Mary's of the Assumption church. I did touch her glove and a feeling of warmth came over me. Later after the Mass, we were told that people who receive blessings often felt the same way. I did conceive a baby several months later. At 31 weeks, I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and was told I had to deliver the baby. My health was in jeopardy. I told my husband to go home and get my prayer to St. Gianna. I have been praying to her throughout my entire pregnancy and I trusted she wouldn't let anything happen to me. My son was delivered weighing only 2 lbs. 13 oz. He was very healthy and never needed oxygen or medications. Now at 1 years old, he is a 19lb very happy and healthy little boy. I continue to pray to St. Gianna everyday. It was also through her intercession that I passed my medical boards. I do consider St. Gianna my friend and guide. I never proceed through a surgical procedure until I prayed to her to guide my hands. Blessed be St. Gianna!

PREGNANT WITH MORNING SICKNESS
My dear friend Saint Gianna, thank you so much for your loving intercession to our Lord Jesus during my last pregnancy. I discovered I was pregnant with our third child in November of 2005. I had always gotten bad morning sickness when pregnant, but this time bad turned into horrifying. I could not keep anything down. I vomited everyting I ate and drank. Even water made me sick. I quickly lost twenty pounds during my second trimester. I was dehydrated as well, and needed many IV infusions. I often spent the day in my bathroom, vomiting for hours on end, until all that came out was bile and blood. I was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). Saint Gianna had been a cherished friend of mine since she was still a Blessed. I "met" her during my pilgrimage to World Youth Day in 2002, of which she was a patron. I knew this lovely saint had also suffered from HG. Each day, when I dragged myself to the bathroom, I brought my postcard from World Youth Day with the image of Saint Gianna. I would pray for her intercession and her strength. There was a day I thought constantly about abortion; Satan was tempting me severely. I cried out for it all to end. I looked at the picture of Saint Gianna and begged for her help; God felt so far away but Gianna understood what it was to suffer for a baby. When I asked for her help, I remembered Christ in the Garden, begging for the cup to pass from Him -- "nevertheless, not my will, but Thine be done." The temptation to abort was instantly taken from me and Jesus suddenly felt close again. My darling daughter, Naomi Elizabeth Pearl, was born on Aug. 2, 2006. Saint Gianna helped me every step of the way. The baby's "secret" name will always be Gianna Gethsemane. Bless you, Saint Gianna. Thank you, loving Father, for providing saints like Gianna as role models of holiness for the rest of us.

Thank you St. Gianna for helping my surgery and recovery go without a hitch. I know you were with me throughout the entire procedure. Thank you also for taking care of my niece, Maddie, during delivery. There could have been serious complications but I know you were with her doctors that day. I also want to thank you for helping baby Collin beat the odds of survival. He is now doing so well. I know it had something to do with your prayer card inside of his incubator! Thank you for being my guardian angel and answering my prayers and helping the people I love.

2% CHANCE OF VIABLE PREGNANCY
I give so much thanks to God and to St. Gianna! Last week I was given the prognosis of my second miscarriage, and went through all the emotional issues of facing the loss of my pregnancy and preparing for my D&C. My doctor had wanted to verify that the pregnancy was no longer viable, and had ordered blood tests and one final ultrasound. On Tuesday, Oct 24th, I gathered up my courage to walk through the doors to the hospital where I prepared to see an ultrasound without a baby. I grabbed my St Gianna charm and prayed with all my might. 30 minutes later, I received a small miracle when a heartbeat was found on the ultrasound. I had been given a 2% chance of having a viable pregnancy, and now I was seeing a hearbeat, where before no baby could be found. While I know I still have a long way to go with the pregnancy, I feel I have been given a second chance and my faith has been renewed. Thank you!
Note 126
MIRACULOUS RECOVERIES

DIFFICULT PREGNANCY
Saint Gianna was canonized the day after my first born daughter's funeral. A good friend of my mother sent us a copy of a novena for then blessed Gianna and her story. Our family began praying to Gianna then. I had a very complicated first pregnancy and in addition to losing my daughter, I nearly lost my own life. I was told I had a 60-80% chance of a reoccurence in a following pregnancy. My husband and I so desparately wanted a child and decided we were willing to try again. But in the long months following our daughter's death we had trouble conceiving. It had been almost a year when one Sunday there was a blurb about the shrine to Saint Gianna in our church bulletin. We decided to visit the shrine. Saint Gianna's gloves were placed on my stomach and I kept the card I was given that day close to me at all times. Within 2 months I was pregnant. I prayed to Saint Gianna regularly and kept that card close to me always, especially at all of my medical appointments when I feared getting devastating news. In the end I was able to carry my second daughter to 36 weeks and despite a major complication at delivery she survived and is now a very healthy, happy, and energetic 11-month old. I still pray to Saint Gianna and am so very grateful to her for watching over us. There is no greater gift than the gift of life.

"GIANNA" SIGN ON TRUCK!
About a year ago, my wife and I, unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. As devastating as it was, we kept our faith strong and put everything into Our Lord's hands. On my way into work each morning, while saying my prayers, I would always ask Our Lord, through the intercession of St. Gianna, to bless my wife and I with a child. One day, while driving to work, I saw a truck in the other lane as it passed. It had written on it, in huge gold letters, "GIANNA". I knew that St. Gianna was hearing my prayers and within a couple of weeks, my wife and I received the greatest news ever; we were expecting. Thus far my wife is doing wonderful in her pregnancy and my devotion to St. Giaana is always present. God Bless!

PREGNANT AT AGE 38 AND AGE 41
After having tried unsuccessfully for two years to become pregnant. I prayed to several Saints including Blessed Gianna (since it was in 2001) and in October, 2001 my first pregnancy was confirmed at 38 years of age. I enjoyed a wonderful pregnancy and was blessed with a little boy in June, 2002. We wanted a sibling for our first child so again we began praying to the Saints including Saint Gianna and I become pregnant in August, 2004 at the age of 41. Our second blessing, another boy, arrived in May, 2005. Thank you Saint Gianna for our two most precious gifts in the world.

GRAVES DISEASE
When I was 21, I was diagnosed w/ Graves Disease. I was engaged to be married, and physicians had told me that I probably would not be able to concieve a child. During this time of struggle I prayed a lot for healing. One day they brought the gloves of St. Gianna to my church... I prayed so hard and asked for her intercession, that I vowed that if God blessed me to have a child and it would be a girl that i would name her after St. Gianna. I am now 27 years old and 8 1/2 months pregnant expecting my first child and she is a girl. Conceived naturally through God\'s Blessing and with lots of prayer. I wanted to thank whomever it was that brought her gloves to my church of St. Lukes Catholic Church, Palm Harbor, Florida. Because with her help and her prayers I have been truly blessed.

KIDNEY STONES AND PREGNANCY
I was pregnant with my fourth child in 2005. I have had problems with kidney stones during pregnancy and a friend of mine (her fourth child is named Gianna)gave me a relic of St. Gianna. I learned more about her life and prayed to her throughout the pregnancy. Then on October 3, 2005, I went into labor (after many episodes of kidney stones and even a surgery while I was pregnant - during all of which I prayed to St. Gianna) I always had her relic with me. All day had passed and finally at night I had an epidural. Shortly after that the nurse checked to see how far dilated I was. When she checked she found the baby was facing the wrong way. She seemed very frantic and quickly started to make calls to the doctors and prepare for a C-section. My husband and I were nervous. So we prayed to St. Gianna and held onto the relic. At that moment I felt a big movement with the baby. When my doctor arrived and checked she said the baby was just fine and in the correct position. We gave birth to our fourth healthy son, Nikolas Joseph early in the morning of October 4, St. Gianna's birthday! Praise be to God!

PREGNANT AND WITH CANCER
St. Gianna was brought to my attention by my sister-in-law. Hestitant to bring me her story, she did it anyway. Thanks be to God! I was diagnosed with Stage IIe non-hodgkins\' lymphoma AND papillary thryoid cancer on June 9, 2004. On 6/15/04 I found out I was pregnant with our 4th child. Obviously, terminating my child was not an option. So, I had to wait to have surgery until my baby could make it through also. In August, during a 7 hour surgery, I had my spleen removed (where the tumor was) and my entire thyroid. I would promptly start chemotherapy 3 weeks later, 7 days after my 37th birthday. I would put off a portion of my treatment b/c it was not known how it would affect our baby. During each round of chemotherapy, I could just feel St. Gianna there filtering all the toxic drugs away from my beautiful child. Three weeks after my last treatment, on January 25, 2005, Grace Gianna was born into this world at 7 lbs. 6 oz. and perfectly healthy! I finished up 4 more treatments for the lymphoma and 2 more for the thyroid cancer that I couldn\'t do while pregnant and I have been in remission for 1 1/2 years! Praise our Good God!! Grace Gianna has also enjoyed great health! Also, before my surgery, my husband and I were invited by our Archbishop, Raymond Burke, to his home so he could pray with us. He has a relic of St. Gianna\'s wedding dress! We were able to venerate the relic and on our journey we continued with the comfort that we had St. Gianna interceding for us! This month (May 2006)Archbishop Burke has announced a new parish in our archdiocese. It is named....St. Gianna!

PHYSICIAN CONCEIVES
Thank you Saint Gianna. One year ago today I first learned of your beauitful life as I watched a documentary on TV. Today that same documentary aired again and I was reminded of how much you interceded for me. I too am a physician and a mother and I knew that you could help me. My husband and I had been unable to conceive for 7 years after our first child was born. I asked your intercession and that of Our Blessed Mother Mary, and Saint Michael the Archangel and to our delight Benjamin Thomas was conceived within 1 month of my prayers. We welcomed him to our home on February 23, 2006. Thank you!!!

BREACH BABY
When I was 34 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child my doctor told me the baby was breach. He would not attempt to turn the baby as my first child was born by cesarean section and there was a risk of rupturing the old incision. I called upon all our family and friends to pray for us, and St. Gianna was one of the Saints that my rosary group and I prayed intently to for intercession. Just before my 37 week appointment with my doctor I could not shake the feeling that even though my doctor had made it clear he would not attempt to turn the baby, I needed to ask him again. Though he again voiced firm objections, to my surprise he agreed to meet us at the hospital and do another scan to see if the version might be possible. The very next day, despite my doctor\'s reservations, despite my previous c-section, despite how late in the pregnancy, despite the size of the baby (one week later was 8 lbs 4 oz), my doctor easily turned my son by placing his hands on my belly and applying gentle pressure. I believe in my heart that our Lord heard the intersessions of St. Gianna and Mary our Holy Mother and saved my family from the struggle of another cesarean birth. My gratitude cannot be expressed. God Bless.

PREGNANCY
Through the past year, after losing a baby boy named Joseph, we have been praying to do God's will for having another child. We felt the Lord was putting it on our hearts, so it was his will. After months of prayer and discerning his will, we were disappointed when we weren't getting pregnant. We have 6 children who had been praying very hard for another child.
I knew St. Gianna's relics were coming to our church and was doing a novena to St. Gianna and St. Joseph (since we lost Joseph). When St. Gianna's relics came to our church, they prayed over me and placed the gloves on my stomach. The next day, which was the feast of St. Joseph, we found out that we were pregnant. Needless to say my children were very excited, as well as, my husband and I.
Note 158
PREGNANCY
Thank you St. Gianna for the safe and healthy birth of our daughter, Gianna Rose, on February 20, 2006. In 2003 Gianna\'s older brother, Derek, was born to eternal life the day after his earthly birth. Following Derek\'s passing, we were told by our infertility doctor that a subsequent pregnancy was unlikely. However, after touching St. Gianna\'s relics and praying for her intercession, I became pregnant without requiring an ovarian cyst aspiration as had been previously done in attempts to conceive Derek. Ultimately, our prayers were answered with the safe and healthy arrival of our baby daughter. Thank you St. Gianna for your intercession and for God\'s living miracles!

Thank you St. Gianna for the healing of my dear friend, Debbie, who had leukemia. After holding your glove, she has gone into remission. I was so happy to be with Debbie, and Jack/Amy Weber when we prayed together. Our God is an awesome God!

Others have if succeeded with frequency after this first miracle and I only have to be thankful, its presence in our life and our home if has become very strong and transformed our lives. My love for it, for Jesus and Maria of Nazareh it has increased to each day more. FAILING and PASSING EXAMS
I wish to thank St Gianna. When pregnant w/ my 5th pregnancy (for my 4th child), my cousin Mary Therese suggested we pray to St Gianna...which we did. Just for a safe pregnancy for us both. I was 40. Well, every single time a test came back "failed", I'd pray for her intercession...we'd retake the test and I would pass FINE. The baby and mother are fine and baby is almost 1 year old (3/11/05). Thank you, St Gianna...for being "my other doctor" in my pregnancy. :-)

DISAPPEARANCE OF DIFFICULTIES
Thank you Saint Gianna for presenting my prayers to the Blessed Lord and for granting my request. I begged for the little baby I nannied for to be healed of the many infirmities he was suffering. Doctors did not know why he was suffering from intestinal and digestive difficulties but within days of my prayers my mother gave word to me while I was in Italy that Mitchell was perfectly fine. I know that you are the cause of his good health, and I thank you.

9 BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS
I gave birth on 4-4-04 to our 9th child. I was 44. She was 4lbs 5 ounces.2 months early.I also had 3 miscarriages before this birth. My baby was gravely ill in utero. She had 9 blood transfusions while she was inside of me. She had 6 more after her premature birth.I prayed to Blessed Gianna Molla throughout our ordeal.I wanted to name my little girl Gianna Joy but my husband and other children wanted her name to be Sophia.Sophia survived!.She has had numerous problems and is hearing impaired. She is a delight to everyone! God is so good and Gianna Molla became a saint before Sophia left the hospital. She was in intensive care for 5 weeks. Sadly we lost another child on 1-15-05.(preborn) but praise God, we have a little Gianna Lucia Marie waiting for us in heaven. Thankyou St. Gianna Molla for your constant help during my difficult time with Sophia Joy.Please hug all of my babies who are in heaven for me ~Martin, Mary Theresa, Liam Michael and Gianna Lucia Marie. Also my grandchildren ~ Magella Marie and Gabriel Nicholas ( a twin)Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou!!!!! Bonnie
